Field Cancellations

Facility and game cancellations and/or delays will be posted here when possible. Check "Field Status" below for the most accurate and up-to-date information on the assigned field for your game. Field status is only updated if there is a change in what is currently posted.

For soccer games, field status updates will be posted by 7:00 AM for Saturday games, 12 pm for Sunday games and 4:00 PM for weeknight games. We do play through intermittent and/or light showers with no lighting but if the fields are deemed unplayable by the PSO staff then games will be delayed or cancelled.  All delays/cancellations will be communicated to the PSO coaches.

Weather Cancellations

Outdoor PSO games, practices and camps will NOT be held if the “real feel” temperature is above 110 degrees or below 32 degrees. The current heat index/wind chill will be monitored by PSO staff to determine cancellations or delays.  If lightning is detected within 10 miles of the practice or game, play must be suspended until there has not been a lightning strike within 10 miles for at least 30 minutes. During suspended play, everyone must leave the field and seek shelter. Parents are responsible for making sure that this policy is followed for their child for practices and games. PSO will make weather-related decisions on games, but parents always have the right to keep their child from playing if they believe the conditions to be unsafe. (Refunds are not available for these situations.)
