Sandy Camp

Sandy has been a trainer at Prestonwood since 2002, a time when the workout space was nothing more than a small closet converted into a weight room.
For several years, she also served as the assistant varsity girls basketball coach at Prestonwood Christian Academy, in addition to acting as volunteer coach for the church’s Mavericks league. The long-term relationships she has developed with many church families is something she cherishes.
With a degree in exercise physiology from Texas A&M University - Commerce, in addition to a certification in personal training, Sandy’s unique training and coaching style applies her expert understanding of the way the body responds to exercise. She is skilled at customizing exercises to address her clients’ needs as related to specific injuries or rehabilitation challenges. Helping clients who are facing health issues such as multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia or obesity, or who are recovering from a stroke or heart attack, is her specialty and greatest joy. Whether training at the Sports & Fitness Center or in the homes of her clients, Sandy is known for making workouts both sweaty and fun.
When she’s not serving as a personal trainer, Sandy uses her experience as a former collegiate basketball player, coaching kids through her Texas Elite basketball club. At Texas Elite, kids of all ages are prepared to ultimately achieve their dreams of playing collegiate basketball and earning valuable scholarships. Sandy has a passion for helping kids discover not just skills for basketball but the skills for life. She happily lends her time to one-on-one skills training and mentorship for youth of all ages.
Sandy is devoted to her family, which includes her husband, Steve, and miracle daughters, Courtney and Caitlin. Steve and Sandy recently became empty nesters and are enjoying figuring out what adventures God will lead them on next.

Licia is the wife to Michael and mother to three beautiful daughters (Jordan, Nikki and Tori). As long as she can remember, Licia was involved in sports and athletics. Over the years, these activities took a toll on her body in general, and in particular, resulted in lower back pain, which affected nearly every area of her life. Licia quickly discovered the benefits that stretching, flexing and increased balance can have on daily health, especially in the aging process. Over time, not only did her lower back problems disappear, she found renewed vitality, and strength in every area of life. Licia is passionate in her belief that God has called her to lead a class using movements to help others discover these same benefits. Her class, Faith Moves, is 100-percent dedicated to the glory of Christ. Come and join Faith Moves today and start discovering the results for yourself.
